OUR MISSION
At the Pal Research Group, we believe the best science comes from diverse perspectives and an environment where everyone feels they truly belong. Our work advances biomimetic soft materials for human and planetary health, and just as important as that work is the community we build around it. We are dedicated to creating a space where researchers from all backgrounds feel valued, supported, and empowered to thrive.
OUR STORY
Our PI grew up as a first-generation scientist in a small village with limited educational resources. That experience and the transformative impact of mentorship and encouragement along the way shaped the culture of our lab. We are committed to building an environment rooted in respect, openness, and opportunity, where every student and researcher can bring their full identity, curiosity, and creativity to their science.
HOW WE SUPPORT YOU
We offer equitable mentoring, transparent communication, and collaborative learning. Every trainee receives structured onboarding, individualized research guidance, regular feedback, and room to grow as an independent thinker and future leader. We also recognize that each researcher's path is unique, and we tailor our support, flexibility, and encouragement accordingly.
